Timing Belt

One evening the LeBaron stalled in traffic and wouldn't restart. The first sign of trouble: the distributor wasn't turning! Fortunately, nothing was seized; the timing belt just lost a few teeth. Thank Ma Mopar that the 2.5 is a non-interference motor!

Close-up of the missing teeth. Looks like it had been playing hockey. Replacing the belt entails removing most of the accessories from the engine, and lifting the engine off the motor mount. Fun!
